Kevin M. Shipbaugh

Kevin M. Shipbaugh, age 45, of Huntington, died at 6:01 a.m. Saturday, February 2, 2019 at his home.

Visitation will be from 3 – 7 p.m. Thursday, February 7, 2019 at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 West Park Drive, Huntington, Indiana. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, February 8, 2019 at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 860 Cherry Street, Huntington, with Father Tony Steinacker officiating. There will be one hour of visitation at the church prior to the service. Burial will be in Gardens of Memory in Huntington County.

Preferred memorials are to Carrie Shipbaugh for Rylie’s and Ryan’s college fund or Boys and Girls Club of Huntington County, in care of Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 West Park Drive, Huntington, Indiana, 46750.

Kevin was born on February 10, 1973 in Huntington, the son of Bruce E. and Pamela J. (Dillard) Shipbaugh. He was a 1991 graduate of Huntington North High School and attended IPFW. He married the love of his life, Carrie A. Zeissig on October 25, 1997 in Huntington. Kevin was the owner of Frederick’s Photography in Huntington from 2014-present, having worked for Rex Frederick for over 20 years prior. He was a member of SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Huntington and was 3rd Degree in the Knights of Columbus. He was a member of Izaak Walton League, 615 Club, and the Downtown Business Association and was a supporter of the Boys and Girls Club of Huntington County. Kevin enjoyed photography, bowling, Poker, golf, and concerts, and he loved spending time with his family and friends.

Surviving in Huntington are his wife, Carrie A. Shipbaugh, his mother, Pamela J. Shipbaugh, a daughter, Rylie K. Shipbaugh, a son, Ryan J. Shipbaugh, and a sister, Kathy L. (Scott) Campbell. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. His father precedes him in death.
