Kenneth Robb

Kenneth was born on June 2, 1920 in Grant County to the late Cecil O. and Ada (Collins) Robb. He passed away in VA Northern Indiana Healthcare Systems, Ft. Wayne, Indiana.

Kenneth was a 1939 graduate of Marion High School and later honorably served in the United States Army during WWII. When Kenneth came home in 1945 he returned to work at Bell Fibre where he was employed 44 years until his retirement in 1984. He met Eloise E. Bowen while working and they were joined in marriage on June 20, 1948. Mrs. Robb preceded him in death on August 3, 2014.

Kenneth was a dedicated family man and worked hard to care for them. In his free time he enjoyed being outside working in the yard, he loved cars and bicycles and showed his patriotism by flying the American flag daily. He mostly enjoyed spending time with his family and was very proud of his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his children, Anne M. (Jerry) Vick, Kansas City, Missouri; Carole S. (Ken) Wendling, Greenwood, Indiana; Linda J. Snyder, Crossville, Tennessee; Dr. Joseph R. (Amber Fields) Robb, Vernon, Indiana; grandchildren, Dacia Robb, Jason Robb, Christopher Wendling, Nathan Vick and Robert Vick; great-grandchildren, Joseph, Grayson, Landon and Jack; sister, Bettie French, Marion.

Kenneth is also preceded in death by two sons, Charles A. Robb and Paul D. Robb; brothers, James Robb, Edward Robb and Hubert Robb; sisters, Sara Messersmith, Thelma Robb and Ruth Robb.

Funeral services with military honors will be held at 3pm, Sunday, February 3, 2019 in Owen-Weilert-Duncan Funeral Home, Marion Chapel, 2722 South Washington Street, Marion, Indiana with Dr. Thomas Mansbarger officiating. Visitation will be held from 1pm-until services begin on Sunday in the funeral home. Interment will be held privately at a later date.
