Kelly Robert Thompson, age 54, of Marion, passed away on Friday, February 3, 2023.
He was born on February 5, 1968, in Marion, Indiana to the late Robert Thompson and Regina (Wheeler) Thompson. His mother survives.
Kelly was an excellent finish carpenter and worked many years in construction. He enjoyed playing golf, auto racing, and his dog, Gracie.
He is also survived by two sons, Evan (Emily) Thompson of Roanoke, and Ian Thompson of Nashville, Tennessee; a granddaughter, Eleanor Jean Thompson of Roanoke; a sister, Nicole Biggs of Indianapolis; and a niece, Haley (Jay) Beeman of Alexandria.
In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by his grandparents.
A Celebration of Life Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at Raven Choate Robinson Funeral Home, 1202 W. Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.
