Keith Lyn Stockdale went to be with the Lord on September 20, 2023.
He was born in Peru, IN on June 30, 1944.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Dianne Halley Stockdale, and his brother, James Allen Stockdale (Linda).
Keith and Dianne have three children, Deborah and husband Timothy Alwine, Melissa and husband John Guyer, and Brian Stockdale; eight grandchildren, Courtney Alwine (Allie), Chandler Alwine (Kyndale), Maddison Guyer, Brogan Guyer, Macey Stockdale, Jeremy Stockdale, Brittany Barnes (Cody), and Noah Goulette; and four great-grandchildren, Maverick Alwine, Harper Alwine, Kinsley Hoover, and Ridge Barnes
He was preceded in death by his parents James W. and Iris Stockdale.
Keith was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the U.S. Marine Corps.
He retired as a Project Engineer at NIPSCO after 35 years of employment.
He served in numerous positions as an active member of the Peru Grace Brethren Church over the course of many years. He was also involved in the Mexico Lions Club and Mexico Fire Department.
Visitation will be held from 10am to 1pm at Peru Grace Brethren Church, 430 South Broadway, Peru, Indiana on Wednesday, September 27, 2023. The funeral service will follow at 1pm with Pastor Dave Jodry, Pastor Jordan Bradley, and Pastor Ron Bowland officiating. Internment will take place at Greenlawn Cemetery in Mexico, Indiana.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Peru Grace Brethren Church.
