Kay Rose Koch

Kay Rose Koch, 66, of Wabash, Indiana, died at 3:55 pm, Thursday, September 16, 2021, at her home. She was born on January 12, 1955, in Huntington, Indiana, to Wilbert John Snyder and Mary Dell (Emley) Fisher.

Kay married Eddie B. Koch in Wabash on December 28, 2019. She worked at Par-Kan in Silver Lake, Indiana, retiring after 22 years, and also worked 14 years at Union Tool in Warsaw, Indiana. Kay lived several years in Warsaw before moving to Wabash. She was a member of the Eagles Lodge and the American Legion Auxiliary, both of Wabash. Kay enjoyed being with her family, fishing, and riding her Harley.

She is survived by her husband, Eddie B. Koch of Wabash, three children, Jennifer (Jason) McKinney of Mentone, Indiana, Steven (Rachel) Birkemeier of West Plains, Missouri, and Douglas (Gina) Koch of Jackson, Missouri, six grandchildren, Cory (Nicole Green) Conley and Amy (Bill) Music, both of Warsaw, Mariah (Jamie) Howgill of England, Andrew Birkemeier and Macy Birkemeier, both of West Plains, and Ben (Katie) Koch of Roeland Park, Kansas, three great grandchildren, two sisters, Helen Buuck of Convoy, Ohio, and Betty (Bill) Mallory of North Manchester, Indiana, and her brother, Bob (Lee Ann) Snyder of Tunker, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her parents and her step son Jeff Koch.

Friends may call 5-7 pm Monday, September 20, 2021, at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Ave. Wabash. Inurnment will take place at a later date in Memorial Lawns Cemtery, Wabash.

Preferred memorial is Wabash County Cancer Society.
