Karen S. White

Karen S. White, 72, Anderson, passed away at 7:18 p.m. on Sunday, December 30, 2018, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne.  She was born in Dodge City, KS, on November 23, 1946, and was the daughter of Harvey and Frances (Doty) Clymer.

Karen was a graduate of Marion High School and attended Marion College.  She worked on the assembly line for 30 years at General Motors until her retirement in 1997.

Karen was very diverse in her interests.  She enjoyed volunteering at the 4-H Fairgrounds, listening to old country music, going to all casinos, watching forensic/crime shows, collecting Barbie dolls, painting, decorating her home, and doing yard work and gardening.  She could be best described as outspoken and sassy, yet sweet, caring, loving, and a wonderful sense of humor.  She had a real sweet tooth for tea and any sweet snack.  More than anything, though, Karen deeply loved her family and friends, especially those at the 4-H Fairgounds, and her Shelties.  She will be greatly missed.

Survivors include her daughter, Lisa (Annissa Moore) Roemer, Greenfield; grandchild, KC (Alyssa) Roemer, Anderson; siblings, Brenda Turner, Marion, Ron Clymer, Anderson, Jack Clymer, Duncanville, TX, and Eddie Clymer, Marion; and fiancé, Bill Winemiller, Chesterfield.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Beverly Webb, Richard Clymer, and David Clymer.

There will be no visitation or funeral service for Karen.

Arrangements are entrusted to Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.

Special thanks to Gina Whitaker in Converse for her loving care of Karen.
