Kaleb was born in Marion and spent all of his life in Grant County. He passed away from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in LaFontaine.
Kaleb attended Oak Hill High School and was an accomplished wrestler for the wrestling team. He later earned his GED. Kaleb loved making people laugh and he loved children and entertaining them with his wrestling moves. His outgoing and energetic personality will be missed by all of his family and friends.
Kaleb is survived by his mother, Kathleen S. (Cirilo G.) Herrera, Sweetser; father, Samuel H. Marin, Marion; sisters, Karlee E. Marin, Sweetser and Angie Marin, Marion; brothers, Cirilo G. Herrea, III, Sweetser; Allen Marin and Anthony Marin, both of Marion; paternal grandparents, Manuel (Estafana) Herrera, Sweetser; uncles, Eric M. (Shanon) Keenan, Juan Herrera and Alex (Chris) Herrera, all of Sweetser; aunt, Evangelina Herrera, Lima, Ohio; nephew, Brantley M. Herrera.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Mary Jane Keenan.
The liturgy of the word for the deceased will be held at 1pm on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 in St. Paul Catholic Church, 1031 West Kem Road, Marion, Indiana. Burial will immediately follow in Estates of Serenity Cemetery, Marion. Owen-Weilert-Duncan Funeral Home, Marion Chapel, 2722 South Washington Street, Marion, Indiana was entrusted with arrangements.
