Julia May Dyer

Julia May Dyer, 60, of Wabash, Indiana, died at 2:36 am, Friday, April 21, 2023, at her home. She was born on September 5, 1962, in Huntington, Indiana, to Steven and Patsy Jo (Pearson) Dyer.

Julia married Michael “Mike” Ihnen in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee on May 13, 2005. She was a member of Grace Fellowship Church in Wabash. Julia loved reading her Bible. She enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting, the outdoors, but especially spending time with her grandkids.  

She is survived by her husband, Mike Ihnen of Wabash, three children, Desari King and Nick King, both of Wabash, and Nathan (Michelle) Williamson of Huntington, Indiana, two stepchildren, Ronald Ihnen of Wabash, and Liz (Michael) Drudge of Lagro, Indiana, 12 grandchildren, brothers and sisters, Teresa Black of Wabash, Bobby (Madonna) Dyer of Andrews, Indiana, Steven (Melissa) Dyer of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, Chris (Cheryl) Dyer of Harrodsburg, Kentucky, Jamie Dyer of Frankfort, Kentucky, stepbrother, Chuck (Lonna) Bledsoe of Cumberland, Kentucky, several nieces and nephews, her dog Remy, and her cat Cleo.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and her stepmother, Dolly Dyer.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Thursday, April 26, 2023, at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash, with Pastor Shawn Light officiating. Burial will be in Friends Cemetery, Wabash.  Friends may call 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm Wednesday, at the funeral home.
