Julia Ann McHale

Julia Ann McHale, 89, of Kokomo passed away Monday, November 5, 2018 at Waterford Place Health Campus in Kokomo.

She was born in Kokomo on June 9, 1929 to Ned and Harriett Waggaman. She married the love of her life, Sergeant Charles E. McHale on December 23, 1950. She was a devoted military wife throughout his career in the Air Force.  She loved traveling with Charles as he was stationed in many places across the globe. She spent many years in Germany and Newfoundland.  Prior to marrying Charles, Julia was a secretary for several years at Continental Steel Corporation in Kokomo. Aunt Julia was a proper classy lady. She never had children of her own but loved spending time with all of her nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her sister, Sue Miller of Kokomo and several nieces and nephews, Pandora Miller, Charles Miller Jr., Kerry Miller, Terry Miller, Shana (Miller) Driver, Steven Shumaker and her dear life long friend Kathryn De Lawter.

She was preceded in death by her husband Charles in 1994, her parents, her sister Nedra Waggaman, her brother in law Charles W. Miller and niece Doris (Miller) Kopeschka.

The family would like to thank Waterford Place for their love and care of Julia for so many years.

A grave side service will be held at 11am on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at Springdale Cemetery in Bunker Hill with Pastor Rick Puckett officiating.  Memorial Donations may be made to The Alzheimer’s Association.
