Judy Ann Cole


Judy Ann Cole, 79, of rural Denver, Indiana, died at 2:00 am, Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at her home. She was born on April 27, 1942, in Wabash, Indiana, to John and Helen (Davenport) Kratzer.

Judy was a 1960 graduate of Roann High School. She married Gary Lee Cole on March 25, 1967, in Peru, Indiana. Judy worked at Harvey Hinklemeyers and Apple Dumpling Inn, both in Peru, Indiana, and was a farmer’s wife that raised chickens, eggs and hogs. She was a member of Chili United Methodist Church. Judy enjoyed camping, NASCAR racing, and was also an avid Indianapolis Colts fan.

She is survived by her husband, Gary Lee Cole of Denver, five children, Carrie (Beave) Fuller of Denver, Greg (Anne) Livengood of Akron, Indiana, Jody (Kenneth) Worden of Galveston, Indiana, Lori Cole and Leslie Cole, both of Indianapolis, Indiana, nine grandchildren, Ryne Fuller and Stewart Fuller, both of Denver, Landon (Niki Fisher) Fuller of Peru, Indiana, Olivia Livengood of Akron, Kelly (Brandon) Behny of Galveston, Kayla (Dave Toepfer) Worden, Katie (Joshua) Hobson, and Travis Correll, all of Peru, and Jessica Burton of Indianapolis; 11 great grandchildren; two sisters, Sara Jane Van Buskirk of Wabash, and Nancy Campbell of Windfall, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her grandson, Jordon Fuller.

Funeral services will be 6:00 pm, Monday, September 13, 2021, at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 335 S. Chippewa Road, Roann. The eulogy will be delivered by her nephew, Tom Van Buskirk. Friends may call 4-6 pm Monday, at the funeral home.
