Judy Ann Boatwright

Judy Ann Boatwright, 82, Kokomo, passed away on Monday, December 19, 2022, at Community Howard Regional Health in Kokomo. She was born in Oakland, California, on October 19, 1940, to John and Lillian (Best) Boyle. In 1956, she married Darryl Honska and he preceded her in death. She later married Leo M. Boatwright and he also preceded her.

Judy attended Hayward High School in Hayward, California. She worked at Auto Owners Insurance as a claim processor, retiring after 20 years. She was a member of Church of God of Prophecy in Gas City.  She had a strong faith in the Lord. She loved to teach Sunday School and even taught a small group in her living community. She loved spending time with her family. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her world.

Survivors include her two daughters, Deanna L. Cole of Gas City and Dawn M. (Michael) Hicks of Swayzee; grandchildren, Keri Cole, Kyle Cole, Brandi (Levi) Biggs, Heather (Cody) Hunt, and Kristen (Jacob) Morrical; 13 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Robert D. Boyle and John C. Boyle.

Along with her husbands, she was preceded in death by her parents; son, Scott T. Honska; and daughter, Cheryl A Bowser.

The family will receive visitors from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Thursday, December 22, 2022 at Church of God of Prophecy 906 N. 10th St., Gas City, IN.

Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Judy’s life will begin at 2:00 pm at the church with Pastor David Morris officiating.  

Arrangements have been entrusted to Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, Storey Chapel 400 E. Main St., Gas City, IN.
