Judy A. Pace, 76, of Marion, passed away at 6:22 am on Wednesday, August 11, 2021, in her home. She was born in Marion on December 15, 1944, to Everett and Thelma (Way) Cummings. On March 16, 1963, she married Robert Pace, and he preceded her in death on July 21, 2017, after 54 years of marriage.
Judy graduated from Marion High School in 1962. She received her Associate’s Degree from Ivy Tech and attended Indiana Wesleyan University. Judy worked as a retail cashier at several places including Lance’s Supermarket and Hill’s Department Store. She was a member of the Moose Lodge in Marion since 1965.
Judy enjoyed camping, playing Bingo and Poker, as well as crocheting. She also followed NASCAR racing. More than anything, Judy loved spending time with her family.
She will be missed dearly by her son, Michael (Stephanie) Pace of Marion; daughter, Jennifer (Bruce) Edgington of Hartford City; granddaughters, Megan Fort and Madison (Sam) Moore; grandson, Josh Dominguez; and several cousins and friends.
In addition to her husband, Judy was preceded in death by her mother, Thelma (Charles) Anders, and father, Everett Cummings.
The family will receive visitors from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday, August 20, 2021, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.
A funeral service to celebrate Judy’s life will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, August 21, 2021, at the funeral home. Pastor Gary Hall will be officiating with burial following at Grant Memorial Park.
