Judith Kay Nester, 82, of LaFontaine, formerly of Nineveh, passed away at 1:35 am on Saturday, March 26, 2022, at Rolling Meadows Health & Rehabilitation Center in LaFontaine. She was born in Marion, Indiana, on Tuesday, January 30, 1940, to Lawrence and Olive (Taylor) Woolman. She married Donald Clark Nester, and he preceded her in death on November 14, 2014.
Judith was a homemaker throughout her life. She enjoyed gardening, especially growing flowers. She was a dog lover and owned several dogs over the years.
Survivors include her daughters, Betty (late Carl) Whittemore of VA, and Julie (late Michael) Mullins of Marion; son, Mark (Charlene) Nester of VA; grandchildren, Jason, Lyndsay, Christopher, Daniel, Donald, Cody, and Rhonda; and great-grandchildren, Xavier, Parker, Raylan, Serenity, Nova, and Jacob.
She was also preceded in death by her father, Lawrence Burr Woolman; mother, Olive Viola Woolman; and two sisters.
Inurnment will take place at a later date at Estates of Serenity Cemetery in Marion.
