Judith Elaine Etling, 79, of Wabash, Indiana, died at 9:55 pm, Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at her home. She was born April 18, 1940 in Wabash, to Bert Brothers Sr and Gladys (Metzger) Fisher.
Judy was a graduate of Wabash High School. She married Lyle R. “Tom Freeman” Etling in Wabash on June 21, 1959; he died November 23, 2001. She was a homemaker. Judy enjoyed watching Bob Ross Painting and the Price is Right on television, and listening to country and gospel music.
She is survived by four children, Kevin (Rhonda) Etling of Wabash, Lisa (Greg Steed) Unger of Markle, Indiana, Patty Etling of Peru, Indiana, and Jenny (Tracy) White of Wabash, 14 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, brother, Bert (Lora) Brothers, Jr. of North Glenn, Colorado, sister, Jackie Smith, and her sister-in-law Dottie (Ken) Smith, both of Wabash. She was also preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be 10:00 am Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash. Burial will be in Friends Cemetery, Wabash. Friends may call 4-8 pm Monday at the funeral home.
