John Timothy “Tim” Hall, 82, Gas City, passed away at 4:52 am on Monday, July 17, 2023, at Marion Health. He was born in Michigan, on Tuesday, July 1, 1941, to John and Louella Hall. On May 16, 1998, he married Vickey Woodard.
Tim graduated from Mississinewa and worked as a machinist for Owens Illinois and PCA. He was a member of the Moose Lodge in Gas City and the American Legion Post 95 in Jonesboro. He loved his sports…all of them. IU, Pacers and Colts were his favorite Teams. He loved all of his family and friends. And most of all, he loved his Miller Lite.
Survivors include his wife, Vickey Hall; daughter, Shelby (Ronny) Frazee of Marion; son, John “J.T.” (Jessica) Hall II of Marion; daughter, Shevny Kosel of Gas City; step daughters, Diana (Steve) Banter of Marion, Kimberly (Joe Cook) May of Jonesboro, Kathy Johler of Little Rock, AR; step sons, Ron Axley of Gas City, Jerry Bennett of Marion, Donnie (Robin) Bennett of Bowling Green, KY; 23 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; and several great-great grandchildren; brothers, Mic (Patty) Hall of Laketon, IN, Rob (Sharon) Hall of Gas City; and many, many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Louella Hall; sister, Pat Hall; step daughter-in-law, Alice Bennett; grandsons, Ryan Muncy, Dustin White, Jr.; and great-grandson, Anthony Briner.
There will be no formal services, but a Celebration of Life will be held by the family at the Moose Lodge in Gas City on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at 2:00 p.m.
