John Maurice Goble, 77, of Denver, Indiana passed away on May 11, 2018 at Hickory Creek Nursing Home.
He was born in Peru, Indiana on June 6, 1940 to Fred and Dollis (Beighler) Goble. He married Cris Lewis in 1978, and she survives. John was a retired materials handler for Lear Corp. and also served four years in the United States Air Force. He was a private pilot, and is also survived by his favorite cat, “Muffins”. He was preceded in death by his parents, as well as one brother and two sisters.
Visitation will be held from 1pm – 3pm on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru, Indiana. Funeral service will follow at 3pm, with Brother Alton Johns officiating. Burial will take place at Mount Hope Cemetery in Peru, Indiana, with military service provided by the Miami County Military Rites Unit.
