Joan G. Zimmerman, 86, formerly of North Manchester, Indiana, died at 11:30 am, Friday, July 5, 2019 at Miller’s Merry Manor West in Wabash. She was born May 2, 1933 in Wabash, to George and Inez (Welsh) Clark.
Joan married Michael Zimmerman. She was a homemaker, and worked a short time at Controls in North Manchester. Joan lived in North Manchester for 40 years. She enjoyed her cats, going to garage sales, attending church, and collecting dolls.
She is survived by her husband Michael Zimmerman, of North Manchester, three children, Rhonda (David) Brown of Naples, Florida, Julie Buck of Lehigh Acres, Florida, and Richard Buck of Rochester, Indiana, 12 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and her brother, William Clark of Indianapolis, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and two sisters.
Funeral services will be 10:30 am, Friday, July 12, 2019 at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash. Friends may call one hour prior to the service Friday at the funeral home.
