Jeffrey L. “Jeff” Grindle, 61, North Manchester, passed away on February 9, 2022 at Miller’s Merry Manor East in Wabash, Indiana. The son of Earl Grindle and Janice (Kistler) Ferrell, Jeff was born on July 27, 1960 in Huntington, Indiana.
After graduating from Manchester High School in 1979, Jeff went on to become a Supervisor at LSC Communications, formerly RR Donnelly, in Warsaw, Indiana for forty years. Jeff loved the outdoors and was an avid NASCAR fan who enjoyed routing for his favorite driver, Denny Hamlin. His children, Christopher and Tiffany, were his pride and joy and he took great pride in being their father. Jeff was a very caring and empathetic person who put everyone else’s needs before his own.
The loving memory of Jeffrey L. Grindle will be forever cherished by his mother, Janice (Kistler) Ferrell, North Manchester; son, Christopher Grindle, North Manchester; daughter, Tiffany (Brandon) Tackett, Bourbon; brothers, Rick (Nannette “Dee”) Grindle, Wabash, and Jim (Kelly) Grindle, North Manchester; sisters, Jill (Kris) Slater, Claypool and Debbie (Terry) Hudson, Roann; step-sister, Heidi (Scott) Fairchild, North Manchester; grandchildren, Mason, Camden, Colton, and Aiden; and step-mother, Carol Grindle, North Manchester. He was preceded in death by his father, Earl Grindle.
The family of Jeffrey L. Grindle has entrusted McKee Mortuary with care and final arrangements. Family and friends may call Thursday, February 17, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, Indiana. Funeral services will begin at the conclusion of calling on February 17, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor J.P. Freeman will officiating. Burial will be at Oaklawn Cemetery, 600 Beckley Street, North Manchester, Indiana.
