Visitation will be from 3 – 7 p.m. Thursday, June 28, 2018 at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 West Park Drive, Huntington, Indiana. Funeral services will immediately follow at 7 p.m. Thursday at Bailey-Love Mortuary with Rev. Raymond Scribner officiating.

Jason was born on April 14, 1986 in Kalamazoo, Michigan, the son of Richard M. and Jan (Sebald) Verellen. He graduated from Huntington North High School in 2005 and worked at General Motors in Fort Wayne for nine years. He married Nicole M. Whitesell on August 13, 2016 in Fort Wayne. Jason was a member UAW Local 2209 and was an avid fisherman. He flew radio-controlled model airplanes with Huntington County Modelers. He enjoyed driving his diesel truck and racing dirt bikes.
Survivors include his wife, Nicole M. Verellen of New Haven, his father, Richard M. (Janet) Verellen of Huntington, sons Richard W. Stilwell and Cooper M. Verellen, a brother, Shawn P. Verellen of LaPorte, his father-in-law, Pat (Daisy Richhart) Whitesell of Woodburn, his mother-in-law, Susan (Clifford Greene) Thompson of Fort Wayne, and many nieces and nephews. His mother, Jan Verellen precedes him in death.
