Jaralee “Jeri” Jean Ellinger, 76, of Wabash, Indiana, died at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at her home. She was born September 2, 1941 in Columbia City, Indiana to Victor and Evelyn (Shaw) Magsamen.
Jeri was a 1959 graduate of Decatur High School and a graduate of IPFW, Fort Wayne, school of nursing. She married Jerome “Scott” Ellinger in Decatur, Indiana on September 3, 1961; he died October 7, 2017. She was a retired Registered Nurse. Jeri was a member of Wabash Church of Christ. She enjoyed shopping and reading.
She is survived by four sons, Gregory (Elaina) Ellinger of Roann, Indiana, Douglas (Sherri Daino) Ellinger of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Matthew (Elizabeth) Ellinger of San Antonio, Texas, and Neil (Stephanie) Ellinger of Spencerville, Indiana, 12 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, brother, Steven (Sheila) Magsamen of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and sister, Sharon (Bob) Martz of Decatur. She was also preceded in death by her parents and brother, Mike Magsamen.
Memorial services will be 3:00 pm., Sunday, July 22, 2018 at North Adams Church of Christ, 630 Cleveland Street, Decatur, Indiana, 46733, with Jim Voglewede, Minister officiating. Arrangements by Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Ave. Wabash, IN
