Janice M. Mohler, 81, passed away on November 27, 2021 at Kosciusko Community Hospital in Warsaw, Indiana. The daughter of Lester L. and Elizabeth (Hopkins) Renicker, Janice was born in Wabash, Indiana on October 2, 1940.
On April 28, 1957 Janice was baptized into the Old German Baptist Brethren Church. She remained faithful to the Lord throughout her life. On June 30, 1962 Janice married Carl A. Mohler. The two were wed for fifty-nine years and had three sons, Larry, Brian, and Neil. Janice worked as a homemaker and relished in her time spent with her grandchildren. Over the many years of Janice’s life, she also repaired and sewed suits for many people.
The loving memory of Janice M. Mohler will be forever cherished by her husband, Carl A. Mohler, Claypool, Indiana; sons, Larry (Heidi) Mohler, St. Ignatius, Montana, Brian (Charity) Mohler, Wyoming, New York, and Neil (Esther) Mohler, Wyoming, New York; twenty-nine grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and seven nieces and nephews; one brother-in-law, Paul (Sherri) Mohler, Springfield, Ohio; one sister-in-law, Karen Mohler, Flora, Indiana. Janice was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Elizabeth Renicker; sister, Carol Reith; brothers-in-law, Eldon Mohler; and one granddaughter, Amanda Marie Mohler.
Family and friends may call Wednesday, December 1, 2021 from 2:00 to 5:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Eel River Old German Baptist Brethren Church, 2128 East 1200 South, Silver Lake, Indiana. Funeral services will be held December 2, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at the Eel River Old German Baptist Brethren Church. Burial will be at the Eel River Old German Baptist Brethren Cemetery, and the Home Brethren will officiate.
