Janet Lee Story, 56, of rural Wabash, Indiana, died at 1:16 pm, Monday, April 17, 2023, at her home. She was born on January 17, 1967, in Wabash, to William “Roger” and Ann M. (Yoder) Story.
Janet was a 1985 graduate of Northfield High School and a graduate of Wabash Beauty College. She was a beautician, working at several shops in Wabash. Janet was a member of the Grace Community Church in Marion. She enjoyed camping, music, attending the Indianapolis 500, computer games, and scrolling through Facebook. Janet was a people person, loved being around people, and never knew a stranger.
She is survived by her mother, Ann M. Story of Wabash; sister, Ann Tysinger of Urbana, Indiana, nieces, Carter (Leigh Fry) Tysinger of New Haven, Indiana, and Parker Tysinger of Urbana, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, William “Roger” Story, and her dog, Scrappy.
There will be a Celebration of Janet’s life at a later date.
