Jane A. Cole, 54, Marion, passed away at 1:38 pm on Thursday, February 16, 2023, at Colonial Oaks Health & Rehabilitation Center in Marion. She was born in Marion, Indiana, on Friday, July 5, 1968, to Gerald Asher and Joyce (Elkins) Schram.
Jane graduated from Marion High School Class of 1986. Jane loved to play Euchre with friends and many agree she won quite frequently. Most important to her were her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include her mother, Joyce Schram of Greentown; sons, Billy (Tatiana) Cole of Marion and Jerry Cole of Galloway, OH; daughter, Sara Cole of Marion; grandchildren, Finnli Cole, Lilly Cole, Tessa Cole, Emma Cole; brothers, John (Michelle) Asher of West Lafayette, Jerod Asher of Greensburg; and nephew and nieces, Damon Asher of Marion, Jamie Asher of West Lafayette, and Megan Asher of West Lafayette.
She was preceded in death by her father, Gerald Asher and step-father, Frank Schram.
The family will receive visitors from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Thursday, February 23, 2023, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral and Cremation Services, North Chapel 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN 46952.
Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Jane’s life will begin at 1:00 pm with Pastor Aaron Murray officiating. Burial will take place at Gardens of Memory in Marion.
