James Michael French, 56, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, died 1:06 am, Thursday, December 23, 2021, at University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville. He was born on June 19, 1965, in Wabash, Indiana, to Jerry and Barbara (Pearson) French.
James was an electrician at Ford Motor Company in Louisville the past 5 years. He enjoyed gardening, could work on and fix anything, and loved spending time with his girls.
He is survived by two daughters, Cassandra French and Olivia French, both of Wabash, sisters and brothers, Rebecca Metz, Richard (Arleen) French, Jerry (Cindy) French, and Mark (Wendy) French, all of Wabash, and Marcia (Rick) Harrison of Lebanon, Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his parents.
His service is in memory of an imperfect, but loving father. Family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m., Thursday, December 30, 2021, at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash. Cremation will follow the service.
Preferred memorial is to the family for expenses.
