James K. Fields

James K. Fields, age 23, of Liberty Center, formerly of Huntington, died at 4:11 a.m. Saturday, December 15, 2018 at his home.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. Thursday, December 20, 2018 at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 West Park Drive, Huntington, Indiana. Funeral services will immediately follow at 12 p.m. Thursday at Bailey-Love Mortuary with Pastor Jason Parsons officiating.

Preferred memorials are to Bailey-Love Mortuary for funeral expenses, in care of Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 West Park Drive, Huntington, Indiana, 46750.

James was born on October 9, 1995 in Huntington, the son of Wesley K. Fields and Cassandra L. Reser. He worked in production at General Manufacturing in Bluffton. James was passionate about working out and staying in shape and he enjoyed music. He loved his family and especially treasured time spent thrill seeking with his mom.

Survivors include his parents, Cassandra L. and Chris Reser of Angola, his father, Wesley K. Fields of Indianapolis, sisters Madilynn Dollar of Angola, Victoria (James) Drummond of Peru, and Brionnah Fields of Indianapolis, and grandparents Jeff and Tammi Brown of Huntington, Greg and Jill Ziggafoose of Huntington, Oliver Fields of Indianapolis, and Dave and Toni Reser of Angola. James is also survived by great grandmothers Donnabele Haneline and Evelyn Fisher, both of Huntington and his boyfriend, Jason Eltzroth and Jason’s parents, Terry and Kim Eltzroth, all of Liberty Center. He is preceded in death by sisters Joslin Brown and Kristen Janero, a grandfather, Jack Hower, a great grandfather, Robert Fisher, and a great grandmother, Phyllis Catlin.
