Huntington To Get New Bike Ride Share Program

HUNTINGTON,Indiana — Do you enjoy riding a bicycle? Well there is a new program coming to the City of Huntington. The City will officially have a ribbon cutting for a bicycle ride share program in the city provided by Zagster. The national company will run the program for the City of Huntington. Ten bicycles at three locations in the city will be available for those who sign up to ride. It is relatively inexpensive and allows you to pick up and drop off the bike at any of the three locations in Huntington. The ribbon cutting will be at noon Saturday at the Huntington City-Township Public Library.
The three depot locations for the bikes will be on Huntington University Campus, The Library as well as Drover Park which provides coverage across the city. Passes will cost: $3/hour, $15/mo, or $75 a year. The program allows riders to ride as long as they want. For info on Zagster go to zagster.com/huntington.
