WABASH,Indiana – A bust of a house party on Erie Street in Wabash Saturday night resulted in three arrests. According to an affidavit of probable cause by Wabash Police Captain Ryan Short, police had evidence of drug use at the party on the 600 block of Erie Street and Short was advised that Amanda Snow, Johnny Gillum Jr., Kristi Ferguson and the homeowner were at the residence. While outside the residence, Short alleges that he saw Gillum take a hit off a marijuana pipe right as Wabash Police Officer Phil Mickelson knocked on the front door. Captain Short said that everyone then scattered in the house. Short went to the kitchen door and spotted Gillum. Short ordered Gillum to open the door and he alleges that Gillum just stood there. Short’s affidavit states that there was a strong smell of burnt marijuana in the kitchen area of the house. Apparently, a “rig” was found by police out on the sidewalk which contained three syringes, a spoon and a rope to tie off one’s arm. Short then alleges that he located a green marijuana pipe behind the couch Ferguson and the owner of the home were sitting on. The homeowner allegedly said that he knew nothing of the drugs, syringes or paraphernalia found at the scene.
