Honeywell Foundation Hosts Annual Winter Bash

WABASH, Ind. – The Honeywell Foundation will host its popular annual event “Winter Bash” Dec. 26-29 at various Honeywell Foundation venues including, the Honeywell Center, Eagles Theatre, the Dr. James Ford Home and the Charley Creek Gardens. All activities are free and open to the public. Winter Bash is sponsored by Terrell Realty Group, LLC.

Winter Bash is a great way for students on break to liven up their vacation time by attending these four fun-filled days:

  • Free Movies at Eagles Theatre! Show times are 1 p.m., 4 p.m. & 7 p.m.
    • , Dec. 26 – Iron Giant
    • , Dec. 27 – Secret Life of Pets
    • , Dec. 28 – Matilda
    • , Dec. 29 – Kung Fu Panda
  • Honeywell Center Activities – Tues., Dec. 27 to Thurs., Dec. 29
    • Wild Winter Art Projects with Candie Cooper at 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Nationally-recognized artist and author Candie Cooper will lead a different art project each day of Winter Bash. Projects will include making Psychedelic Snowflakes and a Shake-and-Paint A photo booth will be available to take a picture with your project after the workshop. Although reservations are not required, spaces are limited and are filled on a first-come first-serve basis. It is best to arrive early!
    • Roller Skating from 10-11:30 a.m. and 1-2:30 p.m. For those who love to skate, the Honeywell Center will host Family skating sessions which provide an ideal time for the entire family to come to exert some energy! It is also the perfect time for beginners as the skating will be at a slower pace. All skaters should be accompanied by an adult. (For safety and to provide the best experience, skating will be limited to 100 guests.)
  • James Ford Home Activities — Tues., Dec. 27 to Thurs., Dec. 29
    • A selection of Victorian Parlor Games — 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
  • Charley Creek Gardens Activities — Tues., Dec. 27 to Thurs., Dec. 29
    • Nature Walk & Activity – 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Take a relaxing nature walk through the Gardens and then create a miniature funny-faced planter with grass hair you grow at home.
