The Church Basement Ladies are serving it up again with a holiday show. Troupe America, Inc., the Producer of the nationally acclaimed musical comedy Church Basement Ladies and Church Basement Ladies 2: A Second Helping opens the holiday season with a musical comedy Away in the Basement: A Church Basement Ladies Christmas.

Away in the Basement takes us back to 1959 and the day of the Sunday School Christmas Program. Content to do things the way they have always been done yet pondering new ideas, the reality of everyday life hits home as they plan the Sunday School Christmas Program. As they mend old bathrobe costumes, discuss the politics of who’s going to play the various roles, little do the ladies know what surprises are in store for them. Known for their hilarious antics and subtle charm, they are once again called upon to step in and save the day! Tickets are $12, $18 and $25.

Four-time Grammy nominated Natalie Grant is known for her powerful and soaring vocals, heart-gripping lyrics and passionate performances, and has remained one of the top-selling Christian and Gospel artists since her 2005 breakout RIAA Gold certified album, “Awaken”. She has since gone on to have over three million in career sales. The Gospel Music Association has named her Female Vocalist of the Year five times and she has had multiple number 1’s on the Billboard singles and albums charts, including her most recent record titled “Be One”.

Two time Dove Award Nominee and BMG recording artist Danny Gokey became a favorite of millions of fans as a Top 3 finalist on Season 8 of “American Idol”. Gokey released his debut album, ‘My Best Days”, which debuted at #4 on the Billboard Top 200 album chart. Danny added author to his credits with the release of his inspirational memoir “Hope In Front of Me” in October 2013. His chart topping single shares its name with the book and had four consecutive weeks at #1 on Billboard’s Christian chart, with his latest full album hitting the Billboard CCM chart at #1 in its first week of release. His latest release is his first Christmas project, entitled “Christmas Is Here”, which debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Holiday Albums chart. His third single, “Tell Your Heart to Beat Again,” held a multi-week run at #1 on Billboard’s CCM chart. Support of this program is provided in part by The Halderman Hipsher Christian Program Endowment. Sponsored by Bass and Bucks, Inc. Tickets are $20, $30 and $50.
