H. James “Jim” Cundiff

H. James “Jim” Cundiff, 75, of Wabash, Indiana, formerly of Cincinnati, Ohio, died at 10:29 pm, Monday, May 3, 2021, at Parkview Randallia Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was born on June 3, 1945, in Anderson, Indiana, to Keith and Geraldine Cundiff.

Jim was a graduate of Logansport High School, and was a policeman in the US Air Force. He was a repair foreman with CSX Railroad in Cincinnati, retiring after 42 years. Jim enjoyed fishing, hunting, carpentry work, telling jokes, and playing basketball with his daughter. He has lived at Bickford Cottage in Wabash, since January 2021.

He is survived by three children, Tricia Barton of Wabash, Sheila Cundiff of Columbus, Ohio, and Eric (Gina) Cundiff of Peru, Indiana, and seven grandchildren, Austin Cundiff of Logansport, Indiana, Hailey Barton and Wyatt Barton, both of Wabash, Joseph Cundiff of Peru, Aaron Doran of Denver, Indiana, Ryan Serna of Kokomo, Indiana, and Tyler Tanchez of Peru. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Per Jim’s request, there will be no services. Arrangements by Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, Wabash.
