Gearldine L. “Jerrie” Cummings, 69, of LaFontaine, Indiana, died at 11:10 am, Saturday, October 15, 2022, at her home. She was born on December 10, 1952, in Havre de Grace, Maryland, to Mabrin Sweeney and Ella Hall.
Jerrie married Dennis E. Cummings on June 28, 1986 in Aberdeen, Maryland. She was a homemaker, and enjoyed going to flea markets and watching home shopping shows on T.V. Jerrie lived in Wabash County for the past eight years coming here from Aberdeen, Maryland.
She is survived by her husband, Dennis E. Cummings of LaFontaine, three children, Sherry Lucas of Wabash, Indiana, Robert Mace, Jr. and Timothy Mace, both of Virginia Beach, Virginia, three grandchildren, Brittany Lucas of Jonesboro, Indiana, Corbin Lucas of Wabash, and David Jeffery “D.J.” Mace of Virginia Beach, and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Mabrin Hall.
There will be a memorial service at a later date in Maryland. Arrangements by Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, Wabash.
