Everyday children are injured or put at risk due to the lack of proper equipment and knowledge of safety issues in their homes. The Family Service Association program is funded by SCAN and Regional Prevention Dollars. There are three components to this program. Director of Prevention Barb Hilton with more.
The Family Service Association is very excited to be able to provide this much needed program called GEAR UP FOR CHILD SAFETY in Miami County and feel this can truly make a difference in preventing unnecessary injuries to our children. At this time, the program will be offered families with children ages four and under. Families must be referred by a community agency or church.
