Frank D. Kline

Frank D. Kline, 84, Wabash, and formerly of Miami County, Indiana, passed away on Friday, January 4, 2019, at Parkview Hospital, Wabash County.

Born March 26, 1934, in Denver, Indiana, he was the son of Herman M. and Bertha M. Lesley Kline.  On May 21, 1954, at the home of the late Rev. C.F. Golden, near Denver, he was married to the former Betty Jean Dunn, and she survives.

He was a member of the Erie United Methodist Church.  He enjoyed gardening, woodworking, and glass-collecting, especially glass roosters.

In addition to his wife, Betty Jean Kline, Wabash, he is survived by his two sons, Rick D. Kline, Wabash; and Randy R. Kline and wife Susan, Peru; four granddaughters, Jessica M. (“J”) Rouch, Tennessee; Chelsea B. (Greg) Smith, Chili; Jamie C. (Justin) Bauch, Fishers; and Katie R. (Zach) Holt, New Albany; two grandsons, Nathan T. Kline, Oak Harbor, Washington; and Heath D. (Amanda) Kline, Evansville; and seven great-grandchildren. He is also survived by one brother, Charles Kline, South Bend; and two sisters, Rosanna Stout, Peru, and Barbara Burns, Florida.

He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, John, Eugene, Richard, Herbert, and Robert Kline; and two sisters, Mary Applington, and Doris Fisher.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, January 9, 2019, at McClain Funeral Home, Denver, Indiana, with Pastor Warrell Law officiating.  Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Mexico, Indiana.

Visitation will be from 4-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, at the funeral home.
