Visitation will be from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. Monday, November 12, 2018 at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 West Park Drive, Huntington, Indiana. A memorial service will immediately follow at 12 p.m. at Bailey-Love Mortuary with Father Rick Leone officiating.

Francis was born on October 29, 1939 in Huntington, the son of Earl C. and Mildred C. (Biddle) Horsley. He was a 1956 graduate of Huntington High School and he married Sharon D. Steele on May 11, 1973 in Huntington. He worked for over 11 years for the Erie Lackawanna Railroad as a brakeman. He later retired from working as a forklift driver at Majestic Corporation after 31 years of service. Francis was a member of First Brethren Church of Huntington and loved to ride his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He also enjoyed trains, tractors, and mowers and was a fan of the Chicago Bears.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Sharon D. Horsley of Huntington, sons Allen (Ronda) Horsley of Huntington and Chad (Megan) Horsley of Fort Wayne, daughters Ann M. (Ted) Johnson of Huntington and Carla J. (Sharon) Horsley of Yorkville, Illinois, grandchildren Jeremy Johnson, Jason Johnson, and Vincent Horsley, and five great grandchildren. His parents and brothers John Horsley and Charles Horsley precede him in death.
