WABASH, Ind. – The Honeywell House invites you to attend Mark Honeywell’s 148th birthday dinner on Fri., Jan. 12, 2018 at 6:30 p.m.
Come experience the fascination and sizzle of a Cuban themed party to help celebrate the 148th anniversary of Mark Honeywell’s birth. To add to the celebration, Vicki Lambert will demonstrate the Cuban-based dance known as the “Cha-Cha,” and pianist, Rick Elliott will provide the music. Guests are encouraged to come dressed in theme attire to add to the fun.
The Cuban-themed party is based on Mr. Honeywell owning a home in Miami, Florida, where he spent many happy winters. In such close proximity of Cuba, he would have enjoyed the country’s food, flavors, music, and fun.
Executive Chef David Ericsson will serve an exceptional menu for this birthday dinner, which includes; watercress, avocado, and pineapple salad with lime vinaigrette; roast pork with grilled plantains and black beans and rice; Cuban rum cake.
