Fall Cleaning Update: Indiana Ranked #3 for Most Stressed Out By Cleaning

Indiana is ranked #3 in the U.S. for the highest percentage of people—38%—stressed out by cleaning, according to the bObsweep National Cleaning Index. The average person in the state spends close to 6 hours cleaning per week!
To conduct this study, bObsweep — [http://www.bobsweep.com], in conjunction with Learndipity Data Insights– asked a nationally representative sample of 2,000 Americans about their attitudes and habits around household chores.
Shown below are a list of U.S. states ranked according to stress associated with cleaning chores:

To help ease the stress and make the best use of your cleaning time, consider the following three pro-tips:
>>PRO-TIP #1: DIVIDE AND CONQUER
Segment your home into three, four, or five different areas—and share the responsibility with your family members—taking on the areas you use the most. The sense of accomplishment and speed will make everyone feel better.
>> TIP #2: STREAMLINE YOUR SUPPLIES
All-in-one cleaners and multi-purpose tools can keep clutter and confusion down—you only have to grab one bottle or tool and won’t waste time cycling through wet wipes, sponges, dusters, and the rest.
>> TIP #3: GET TECHNOLOGICAL HELP
The magic of automatic cleaning appliances like dishwashers is that they cut chore time in half—so what do you do with the other half? Knock out another one. The bObsweep robotic vacuum can mop the floor while you wipe down the counters, so you’re done in record time. You don’t even need to be home—it can be pre-scheduled to start whenever you want.
The tech-savvy inventors of bObsweep wanted to take the stress out of cleaning.  That’s why their powerful, compact robotic vacuum with a big personality combines five chores into one—sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, UV sanitation, and air purification. Using smart home technologies like these are a great way to gain some extra time.
If you’d like to learn more about how smart home technologies are revolutionizing cleaning routines, I’m happy to arrange an interview with Ali Afrouzi, bObsweep’s Chief Chore Expert. Ali is available for in-studio and phone interviews from September 1 to September 9.
