Eveline McCoy Wyatt

Eveline McCoy Wyatt, 82, passed away on November 22, 2022 at the Wesleyan Health and Rehabilitation Center in Marion. 

Eveline was born in Majestic, Kentucky on April 18, 1940, to the late Vernon and Edna McCoy. Eveline married the love of her life, Eddie Wyatt, December 23, 1962, and they celebrated 53 years of marriage until his death in 2015. She worked at several restaurants and drug stores during her younger years and was employed for a while at RCA. However, the job she was most proud of was being a homemaker and taking care of her husband.

Eveline loved to shop and did a lot of fishing with her husband in Florida where they would spend the winter months. Eveline’s pride and joy were her great nieces and nephews and she loved to spend time with her family. Eveline also treasured her friends in her Wednesday lunch group. You are all a treasure.

Eveline is survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Vernon & Susan McCoy of Marion, IN. Her special nieces and nephews, Sherri & Ken Hinshaw of Marion, Rhonda & Trevor Gruenewald of Texas, Carol & Randy Justice of Tennessee, Robin & Mike Gump of Marion, and DeAnn DeShazo of Tennessee. Her special nephews, Greg & Beth McCoy of Florida, Kenny & Kathy Craft of Marion, and Michael & Sharen Craft of Kentucky. Special great nephews and nieces, Jared & Sarah Burnett of Greenfield, Jason Burnett of Oregon, and Randy & Autumn Justice of Tennessee, and many other great, great nieces and nephews whom she loved very much.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Wyatt; her sisters, Linda Craft, Normajean Wolford, and Bertha Cornett; her brother, Tracy McCoy; and brothers-in-law, Bill Craft, Bergen Cornett, Arthur Wolford, and nephew, Eddie Wolford.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (Noon) on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 W. Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.  Funeral Services will begin at Noon.

Burial will follow funeral services at Grant Memorial Park Cemetery, Marion, Indiana.
