Ermah E. Sparks, 68, North Manchester, passed away at 4:40 a.m. on April 27, 2019 at Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Daughter of William A. and Gladys M. (Walker) Strasser, Ermah was born on June 15, 1950 in Wabash, Indiana.
For many years, Ermah worked as a CNA for various nursing homes in Wabash County, Indiana, Michigan and California. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ermah was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post #286, Women of the Moose Chapter #866, both of North Manchester and Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary #549, Wabash.
Her loving memory will be remembered by her two sons, Bill (Angie Ring) Strasser, North Manchester and George (Laura) Sparks, Silver Lake; one daughter, Tonnie (Terry) Evans, Wabash; two sisters, Barbara Jean Miller, Wabash and Shari (Harold) Becker, Arkansas; eleven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Ermah was preceded in death by her parents, brother John Strasser and great-grandchild, Owen Williams.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at the Moose Family Center, 207 East Main Street, North Manchester at a later date. Pastor J.P. Freeman will officiate.
