Doug J. Anderson, 59, of Hartford City, IN, passed away at 4:13 PM on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home in Fort Wayne, IN. He was born on Wednesday, September 17, 1958, in Hartford City, IN. Doug was a 1976 graduate of Southern Wells High School. He formerly worked for Asplundh, JR Flooring and farmed. He enjoyed fishing, shooting guns and throwing knives. He has been with his lifetime companion, Teresa Mills for over 30 years. The two have been there for each other through the best of times and the tough times. Doug had to step into the role of being Teresa’s caregiver for several years now. He was always there for her every need. Doug’s family will miss him tremendously and treasure the happy memories made.

He was preceded in death by his: Father – Gene Anderson, Mother – Virginia (Lyons) Anderson, Grandchild – Tiffany Irelan and Sister – Cheryl Medler.
Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Glancy – H. Brown & Son Funeral Home 203 N Matilda St. Warren on Monday, February 26, 2018 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A service to celebrate Doug’s life will follow at 6:00 PM.
