Donna L. Showen, 93, Marion, passed away at 8:43 pm on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at Aperion Care in Marion. She was born in Marion, Indiana, on Saturday, August 30, 1930, to Clifton and Mabel (Davis) Lines. She was married to Kenneth R. Showen, Sr., who preceded her in death on June 4, 2000.
Donna worked at GNC for many years as a salesperson. She was a member of Parents without Partners and the Eagles Lodge.
Donna enjoyed going on walks with friends. She loved visiting Graceland and, on her 80th birthday, had an Elvis impersonator. Donna also loved to dance, garden, and be with her family.
Survivors include her children, Jerry (Sandy) Showen of Fuquay Varina, NC, Pamela Showen of Marion, Daniel Showen of Fort Wayne, and Debbie (Jack) Bishop of Marion; brother, Philip Lines of Marion; sister, Sylvia (Roy) Thompson of Sweetser; 16 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her sons, Kenneth Showen, Jr., Randy Showen, and Ronald Showen; brothers, Burl Richard Lines, Max E. Lines, Douglas Allen Lines, Donald “Don” Eugene Lines, Guy Lines, and Dale Lines; and one grandchild.
The family will receive visitors from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.
Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Donna’s life will begin at 1:00 pm with Pastor Brad Wright officiating. Burial will take place at Grant Memorial Park.
