Donna G. Dixon, age 88, of Huntington, passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2016, at 12:10 am at Parkview Huntington Hospital. She was utility trainer at E-Systems-Memcor for 17 years. She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene, Huntington. Donna enjoyed sewing, crafts and putting together jigsaw puzzles, and volunteered with the PTA and in the children’s department at church.
Donna was born January 31, 1928 in Grand Rapids, MI, the daughter of Richard Charles and Bertha Viola (Thornton) Vincent. On February 19, 1983 she married her beloved husband of 27 years Ronald D. Dixon in Huntington and he passed away January 6, 2011. She is survived by 2 daughters Linda (Harold) Holmes of Huntington and Denise (Randy) Hess of Chambersburg, PA, 2 sons Mark (Christy) Spencer of Huntington and C. Timothy Spencer of Tulsa, OK, 12 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandson, a great-granddaughter, a great-grandson, 2 sisters Ilene Rosella Taylor and Betty Mae Miller and 4 brothers Bernard Charles Vincent, Richard Edward Vincent, Wesley J. Vincent, and Delbert Earl Vincent.
Visitation will be held Friday, October 14 from 5-8 pm at Deal-Rice Funeral Home-Huntington Chapel and at the church one hour prior to the 2:00 pm funeral service, Saturday October 15, at First Church of the Nazarene, 1555 Flaxmill, Huntington.
