Diana Lynn Pugh, 68, Jonesboro, went to be with the Lord at 1:45 a.m. on Monday, April 30, 2018, at Rolling Meadows in LaFontaine. She was born on February 20, 1950, in Marion and was the daughter of the late Marion E. and Mary Ann (Loftis) Kuntz. On May 17, 1971, Diana married Richard L. Pugh, and he preceded her in death on March 11, 2004.
Diana was a 1983 graduate of Mississinewa High School. She was primarily a homemaker but had volunteered at Marion General Hospital for many years. She enjoyed reading books, watching movies, crocheting, writing poetry, and coloring in adult coloring books. Diana also loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Sweetser.
Survivors include her children, Dawn Owen, Jonesboro, and Dennis (Tootie) Pugh, Wabash; 6 grandchildren, David Guthrie, Jonesboro, Amanda (Maxon) Adams, Jonesboro, Dennis Pugh II, Marion, Theresa Pugh, Marion, Catrin Owen, Cicero, and Briana Owen, Greentown; 5 step-grandchildren and 6 step-great-grandchildren; 3 brothers, Charles “Stubby” M. (Diane) Kuntz Sr., Harry “Zip” Kuntz, and Rocky Kuntz, all from Marion; and nephew, Charles “Stubby” M. Kuntz Jr., Marion.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Abraham Owen.
The family will receive visitors from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday, May 3, 2018, at Integrity Funeral Care, 2901 S. Washington St., Marion, IN.
Services for Diana will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 4, 2018, at the funeral home with Pastor Terry Bishir officiating. Burial will follow at Estates of Serenity.
