Dennis DeShane Proffitt, 53, of Wabash, Indiana, died at 1:00 pm, Thursday, March 7, 2024, at Parkview Wabash Hospital. He was born on May 9, 1970, in Wabash, to Charles “Dennis” Proffitt and Alice (Young) Wainscott.
Dennis worked at West Plain Mines in Wabash. He attended Christian Heritage Church. Dennis enjoyed riding his motorcycle, working on cars, working on puzzles, and playing pool.
He is survived by his father, Charles “Dennis” Proffitt of Wabash; mother, Alice Wainscott of Peru, Indiana; fiancé, Leticia Landes of Wabash, and several step brothers and sisters. He was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Angel Proffitt.
There will be no services. Arrangements by Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, Wabash.
