Dennis was born on May 18, 1943 in Andrews, the son of Charles Flaugh Sr. and Ada (Vought) Flaugh. He was a 1961 graduate of Andrews High School and married Janice Yoos on July 12, 1963 in Huntington. He retired an engineer manager from Dana Corporation in Andrews after 50 years of service. Dennis was a member of the Fort Wayne Corvette Club and raced cars in his earlier years at Warsaw Raceway. He enjoyed woodworking, traveling to casinos, and was an avid basketball fan. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, who were his life.
Survivors include his wife of almost 55 years, Janice Flaugh of Huntington, a daughter, Tami (Andy) Paul of Columbia City, brothers Charles (Bev) Flaugh and Roger (Diane) Flaugh, both of Huntington, sisters Sharon Runion of Huntington and Jill Tribolet of Andrews, grandchildren Kilee Carroll of Columbia City, Austin Paul of Indianapolis, and Tyffani Flaugh of Wabash, and a great grandson, Bracken Carroll. He is preceded in death by his parents, a son, John Flaugh, a brother, Lloyd Flaugh, and a sister, Ruth Yeager.
