Deborah “Annette” Wilfong

Deborah “Annette” Wilfong found final peace and healing on May 27, 2018, at 5:00 AM at Miller’s Merry Manor here in Peru. She was born Kerry Lea Scott on September 1, 1950 in Perryville, MO. In 1958 she and her sister Kelly Raye Scott/Katherine Diane Wilfong were blessed to be adopted into the loving family of Rev. Merideth and Rachel Chadwick Wilfong of Bald Knob, AR.

Annette was happily raised with three sisters, Katy, Gwen and Mary. Annette was a loving mother to her two children Deanette Zody Morecraft of Peru, IN and Gary Duane Zody . She was known as “Nana Annie” and greatly loved by her two granddaughters, Tiffany and Elizabeth Morecraft of Peru, IN also surviving in addition to her daughter Dee is a sister Gwen Brinkman.

Annette loved her family and friends. She was a very caring and giving person, she didn’t have much but would give all she had with no expectation of anything in return. Her favorite pastimes were watching horror shows and playing bingo.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her step-mother Lois Jean Wilfong, a son Gary Duane Zody two sisters, Katy and Mary; two brothers-in-law, and her life partner, Greg Rhinehardt.

There will be no viewing or visitation per her request. A private family graveside service will be held at Sante Fe Cemetery, Sante Fe, IN.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home, Peru
