David “Dave” B. Hodson, 76, of Peru, Indiana passed away at his residence on Friday, February 16, 2024.
He was born in Peru to the late Ralph and Betty (Babbs) Hodson on December 20, 1947.
Dave married Joan Klok in November of 1992 and she survives.
He worked at Square D as a service tech and also at St. Joseph Hospital in the maintenance department for 12 years. Dave enjoyed watching the Colts and Notre Dame football, the Pacers, wrestling, and going to car shows.
In addition to his wife, Dave is survived by his children; Brian Hodson of Rochester, Indiana, Aaron (Betty) Hodson of Peru, Indiana, Amy Gipson (Jon) of Metamora, Indiana, grandchildren; Jade Cox, Morgan Brewer, Braxton Gunter, and Carly Gunter, great grandchildren; Olivia Cox, Reagan Cox, Jolie Cox, and Barrett Brewer, sister, Linda Wolfe of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, nephews, Chris (Sarah) Wolfe of Michigan and Cory (Keri) Wolfe of Montana, niece, Carin Malanowoki of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, and great nieces and nephews; Simeha, Leighton, and Alyssa.
Dave is preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Lonnie Wolfe.
Family and friends may call from noon to 1pm on Thursday, February 22, 2024 at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru. The funeral service will follow at 1pm with Donald Fuller Sr. officiating. Interment will take place at Ever-Rest Memorial Park Cemetery in Logansport, Indiana.

In honor of Dave, the family has requested that blue jeans be worn on the day of the service.
