David Allen Bowling, age 59, of Huntington, passed away Monday July 30, 2018 at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. He had worked as a cook at KFC. He was an avid Colts fan, enjoyed shooting pool, listening to classic rock & roll, playing guitar, and collecting Coke items.
David was born January 11, 1959, in Hazard KY, the son of Cleveland and Norma Bowling. His mother survives in Huntington. Also surviving are a son Dylan Taylor of Huntington, girlfriend Kelly Taylor of Huntington, and 5 siblings Charles (Jill) Bowling of Huntington, Diana (Billy) Vanover of Hazard, KY, Linda (Jim) Cornett of Burlington, KY, Steven (Michele) Bowling of Millford, OH, and Karen Shaw of Huntington. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by 2 brothers Daniel Bowling and Timothy Bowling.
Visitation will be held Friday August 3, from 5-6 pm preceding the 6:00 pm funeral service at Deal-Rice Funeral Home- Huntington Chapel.
