David Alan Kroft, 57, of rural Wabash, Indiana, died at 10:25 pm, Saturday, June 1, 2019 at Parkview Wabash Hospital. He was born May 4, 1962 in Wabash, to Dale and Donna (Rhoads) Kroft.
David was a 1980 graduate of Southwood High School. He married Amy Christman in Wabash on June 17, 1988. David was a 3rd generation farmer and a member of the Lincolnville United Methodist Church. He enjoyed hiking, walking, being outdoors, and traveling with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Amy Kroft of Wabash, two children, Michael Kroft of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Rebecca Kroft of Bloomington, Indiana, father, Dale Kroft of Wabash, three brothers, Doug (Amy) Kroft of Wabash, Dan Kroft of North Hollywood, California, and Darin Kroft of King George, Virginia, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, and his brother, Dennis Kroft.
Funeral services will be 10:00 am Friday, June 7, 2019 at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash, with Rev. Melissa Rice officiating. Friends may call 4-8pm Thursday, at the funeral home.
