Cornellia L. Mansbarger

Cornellia L. Mansbarger, 79, Converse, went to be with the Lord at 10:20 am on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at Marion Health. She was born in Fairmount, Indiana, on Wednesday, February 18, 1942, to Shirl and Bertha (Morse) Reismiller. On January 31, 1959, she married Donald W. Mansbarger, and he preceded her in death.

Cornellia was a dental hygienist for 31 years with Converse Dental Clinic. She was a member Converse UMC and Gas City Moose.

Cornellia liked to golf, read, crochet, play her handheld Solitaire games, as well as watch Westerns. She loved her family and church family, and she especially loved being a mom and grandma.

Survivors include her daughters, Dora (Greg) Richardson of Kokomo, Vickie Haisley of Fairmount, and Shirley Mansbarger of Kokomo; brother, Bill Reismiller of Anderson; sisters, Betty Isley of Junction City, KS, and Mary Clouse of Fairmount; grandsons, Mark (Savannah) Day of Port Charlotte, FL, and Andrew Richardson of Plainfield; granddaughters, Erin (Zachary) Manton of Jasonville and Katherine Howard of Kokomo; and great-granddaughters, Kennedy Howard and Joanna Cecil-Manton.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Charles Reismiller, Carl Reismiller, Paul Reismiller, and George Reismiller; sisters, Mable Mott, Sylvia Taylor, and Charolette Reismiller; and sons-in-law, James Day and Jerry Haisley.

The family will receive visitors from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Thursday, January 20, 2022, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.

Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Cornellia’s life will begin at 1:00 pm. Pastor Tom Mansbarger will be officiating.
