Contrel L. Jackson, age 35, of Marion, passed away on Tuesday, August 22, 2023.
Contrel was born on July 8, 1988, in Ft. Wayne, Indiana, the son of the late Anderson Soil and Patricia (Jackson) Soil. He married Maribel Ortega, and she survives.
Contrel loved his family and daughter more than anything. He was a loving and caring son. He enjoyed music and loved to rap. He loved his wife, and they were a perfect couple. He worked at Dollar General.
He is also survived by his daughter, Yahira Jackson; sons, Nyheem Ortega, Jumarcus Ortega and Jumarion Ortega; his brothers, Ben Jackson, Larry Jackson, Curtis McClung, Nathaniel Jackson, Anderson Jackson, Carl Jackson, Michael Jackson, James Jackson, Corey Soil, Preston Mathia, and Quintin Jackson; and two sisters, Elberta Jackson and Mattie Soil.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, Justice Jackson; 2 uncles and three cousins.
Arrangements are entrusted to Raven Choate Robinson Funeral Home, 1202 W. Kem Road, Marion, Indiana. There will be no funeral services.
